COMPETITION FORMATS

Three ways to compete

Not everyone has to compete in the same way. You can take part in the club’s relaxed internal events, or we can help you obtain a player licence that allows you to compete in other locations.

1

Club competitions

Low-threshold events for members and new competitors.

2

BCB Puulaaki competitions

For decades, BCB has organised the Puulaaki competitions at the end of spring, most recently for the club’s own members.

3

Official tournaments

We guide you through obtaining a competition licence, where and how to compete and how to enter. Events range from recreational competitions to Finnish Championship level.

NEXT STEP

Would you like to compete?

The club can help with a player licence, choosing a suitable event and class, and registration.

Ask about competing
  1. Ask which event is suitable for your level.
  2. Obtain a player licence with guidance from the club.
  3. Choose the event class and, when needed, a partner.
  4. Register according to the organiser’s instructions.
